Aloha. I'm a User Experience and Product designer with a colorful background in visual arts and illustration, paired with 16 years of real-world experience in the Hospitality & Food Service industry in Hawaii. My journey into the world of UX/UI began as a creative experiment—building my own personal websites for Children’s Book Illustration and Surface Design. I took a UX/UI Bootcamp on top of a full time job for an entire year to level up my design skills as technical constraints prevented me from created websites I felt were fully actualized.

My time in the customer service industry has honed my ability to empathize with users, anticipate needs, and collaborate with diverse teams—skills that translate seamlessly into crafting meaningful user experiences.

I have a seasoned eye for aesthetics and a knack for communication; Combine that with my background in illustration, and you get a designer who knows how to make interfaces not only deeply functional but delightful to use.
